Be Humble To Go Far In The Music Ministry – Elder Mireku To Gospel Singers

Ace Gospel Musician Elder Dr. Kwasi Mireku has advised contemporary Gospel musicians to be humble and live holy and righteous lives worthy as Christians if they want to go far in the music ministry.

Elder Mireku made this call when he joined Brother Emmanuel Arthur and some of his colleague Gospel musicians in a praise and worship programme christened “Altar Experience” Season 2 at the Dr. Thomas Wyatt Memorial Temple in La Area of The Church of Pentecost on Saturday, April 28, 2018.

He charged gospel singers to set themselves apart to be used by God. He assured them that they will see the provision of God in their respective ministries irrespective of the challenges they may face in the ministry, using himself as a living testimony of God’s faithfulness to His children.

Other seasoned and Spirit-filled Gospel musicians who ministered at the programme included Reverend O. B. Nartey of Vision 1 Live Worship fame, Braa Kwaku, Eunice Coffie, Mark Glover Vigbedor, Paa Sammy, Alexandra Aboagye, Esther Addo and Emmanuel Moore.

Eternal Praise Minstrels, the host Choir of Dr. Thomas Wyatt Assembly, also ministered Spirit-filled songs at the event. Brother Thomas Wiredu also used his God-given gift in showering appellations to connect certain Scriptures to inspire the gathering.

In attendance were Pastor Isaac Osei (La Area Youth Pastor and Caprice Worship Centre Resident Pastor), Pastor Fred Antwi (Kokomlemle District Minister) and Pastor Ron Lutendo (a South African Pastor).

The well attended programme also saw the host Pastor, George Ankamah (Accra Newtown District Minister) and Elder Samuel Amo Tobin (Dr Wyatt Assembly Presiding Elder) in attendance.

The ‘Altar Experience’ is a vision by Brother Emmanuel Arthur, a contemporary Gospel musician which started last year. It is aimed at gathering some Spirit-filled and seasoned Gospel singers to lead God’s flock to the altar using praise and worship to encounter and experience God.
