Kasoa Area, headed by Apostle Samuel Antwi, maintained its position as the best performing area out of 63 areas of The Church of Pentecost in Ghana after emerging first in the 2017 Area Operational Performance Ranking.

Kasoa Area was followed by the Sefwi Wiawso, Ashaiman, Walewale and Wa Areas in 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th place respectively. Making up the top ten rankings are: Suhum, Bolga, Asankragwa, Berekum and Obuasi areas in that order.

The Key Performance Indicators for the 2017 Area ranking are: Rallies held, Adult souls won, Converts baptised in water, Converts baptised in the Holy Spirit, Assemblies opened, Percentage of Adults doing Evangelism, Percentage of Souls won baptised in water, Percentage of Souls baptised in water who have been baptized in the Holy Spirit, Percentage of Adult membership who are active Home Cell members, Net Tithes performance in quantum, Missions Offering in quantum, Percentage of Actual Tithes over Budget, Percentage of Actual Missions Offering over Budget and Percentage of membership change between 2016 and 2017.

It may be called that Kasoa Area also came out on top as the best performing area of the Church in Ghana in the 2016 Area ranking.

In a related development, out of the 1301 districts of the Church in Ghana, Buduburam District, which is also in the Kasoa Area, emerged the overall best in the District Performance Operational ranking in 2017.

The Budumburam District, headed by Pastor Prince Joseph Boakye, was joined by Afienya (Ashaiman Area), Bethlehem (Ashaiman Area), Zenu (Ashaiman Area) and Official Town (Ashaiman Area) districts in the top 5 ranking.

Making up the top 10 district ranking are: Nsawora (Sefwi Wiawso Area), Adientem (Takoradi Area), Nsuaem (Tarkwa Area), Goka (Berekum Area) and Adenta (Madina Area) in that order.

The District ranking is based on: Overall membership growth, Actual Tithes paid for 2017, Percentage change between Net Tithe paid for 2016 and 2017, Actual Missions Offering paid for 2017, Percentage change between Missions Offering paid for 2016 and 2017, Adult souls won, Converts baptized in water, Percentage of Adult Souls won baptized in water, Converts baptized in the Holy Spirit, Percentage of Souls baptised in water who have been baptized in the Holy Spirit, Rallies held, Assemblies opened, Percentage of Adults doing Evangelism, and Percentage of Adults who are active Home Cell members.

The District and Area Overall Operational Performance Analysis Ranking is put together by The Church of Pentecost – Headquarters to acknowledge the great performance of districts and areas of the Church within a specific year and to encourage less performing districts and areas to work harder in the ensuing year.
