Hon. Ahmed Ibrahim Donates Vehicle To Banda District

The Member of Parliament (MP) for Banda Constituency in the Brong Ahafo Region, Honourable Ahmed Ibrahim, has donated a Toyota Highlander to the Banda District of The Church of Pentecost in the Techiman Area.

He presented the vehicle at a short ceremony which took place on February 11, 2018 at Banda Central Assembly. Present at the ceremony were the Techiman Area Head, Apostle Julius Franklin Asante-Ayeh; the Area Secretary, Pastor Robert Nkrumah; the Banda District Minister, Pastor Francis Opoku, and their wives.

Others were the Board Chairman of Flamingo Group of Companies, Pastor James Andoh Kwaw (Retd) and the Banda District Executive Committee Members of the Church.

The MP, who is an elder of The Church of Pentecost and Chief Executive Officer of Flamingo Group of Companies, said he was touched by the plight of the district pastor who had to travel several distances on motorbike to discharge his duties in the district. He added that he realised that donating a vehicle will facilitate the Kingdom work in the district.

“Wherever I am now, I believe God has placed me there to support His work so this is not the first I have done because I know that it is by the grace of God that I have reached this far,” he said.

Receiving the vehicle on behalf of the Church, Apostle Asante-Ayeh commended the MP for his kind gesture and called on others to emulate his example.

The Banda District Minister, Pastor Francis Opoku, also thanked Hon. Ahmed Ibrahim for the gesture and pledged to use the vehicle for the purpose for which it was donated.

The clergy prayed for the MP and his companies.
