The church building was largely financed by the COP Headquarters through its Community Based Church Building (CBCB) initiative.

The Kornorkle Assembly, which was adjudged the most vibrant Home Cell Centre in the Oterkporlu District recently, was established on 12th July, 2015 by the then District Minister, Pastor Daniel Annan Tetteh-Nortey, with 17 members.

The members fellowshipped under tree. Through the effort of the District Minister, Overseer Emmanuel Kyei Mensah and the Presiding Elder, Isaac Tamatey, the assembly acquired a plot of land worth GH҃¢1,350 for construction of a permanent auditorium.

On 4th August, 2016 and 19th November, 2017 the assembly raised funds of GH¢ 6,709 and GH¢ 6,864 respectively to commence the construction of the building. In January 2017, the assembly received a CBCB grant of GH¢40,000 and an additional grant of GH¢8,054.38 from the Area. Speaking at the ceremony on the topic, “Discharge Your Duties to the End” taken from 2 Timothy 4:1-5, the Asutsuare District Minister, Pastor Joseph Kweku Donkor, admonished the members to serve the church with dedication to the end, adding that there is a reward attached to every work done.

He told them to endure hardship to the end and also discard habits which are not worthy of Christians. He further urged the leadership and the members of the assembly to use the temple as a place for prayer, fasting and sound biblical teachings. He further entreated the members to remain in Christ and cautioned them against moving from place to place for prayers.

Apostle Quardson, on his part, called on all and sundry to remain in the Pentecostal doctrine and serve God with all their heart.

Present at the dedication ceremony were Mrs. Felicia Quardson (wife of the Area Head), the Pastorate in the Area and their wives, the chief of the community, Dade Mantse Jacob Kofi Teye, among others.
