Pra River District Dedicates Ataaso Church Building

The Ataaso Assembly church building of the Pra River District in the Nkawkaw Area of The Church of Pentecost (COP), which was largely financed under the Community Based Church Building (CBCB) initiative of the COP Headquarters, has been dedicated.

The dedication ceremony which was performed by the Area Head, Prophet Robert Kobina Dentu, took place on February 6, 2018. He was assisted by the District Minister, Pastor Philip Narh Baah, and the pastorate in the Area.

The project is the first to be dedicated in the Area this year. It will be recalled that the Area dedicated a total of 41 projects in 2017.

Speaking at the service, Prophet Dentu revealed that Jesus Christ is the only true way to God. Reading from 1 John 2, he explained that the Word of God holds truths for both believers and unbelievers alike.

He emphasized that Jesus is the accredited Messiah and Saviour of the world. “As the only advocate, He is the expiation for our sins and that of the world,” he stressed.

Prophet Robert Dentu exhorted the gathering to walk as Jesus walked by demonstrating love towards one another.

The message was climaxed with an altar call resulting in five souls surrendering their lives to Christ.

Present at the ceremony were the chiefs and people of Ataaso.
