Yendi District Dedicates New Mission House

A five-bedroom mission house for the Yendi District of The Church of Pentecost has been dedicated.

The manse was dedicated by the Yendi Area Head, Apostle William Kojo Edzorhoho, on Saturday, 14th August, 2018, assisted by the District Minister, Pastor Thomas Owusu Brefo and the pastorate in the Area.

The manse which started on 27th October, 2015, was constructed at the cost of GH¢116,872.30.

Speaking at the service on the topic, “Preserving the Legacy of Our Fathers” with scripture reference from John 4:1-11, Pastor Samuel Acheampong of Wulensi District pointed out that prayer, evangelism, sacrificial attitude, respect for authority and love for the brethren, are some of the secret behind the Church’s success story.

Using the well of Jacob which was preserved for over 2500 years as a case study, Pastor Acheampong entreated Christians to be faithful in keeping the legacies the founding fathers bequeathed to the Church.

A representative of the Regent of Dagbon, Abukari Mohammed Amadu, commended The Church of Pentecost for undertaking several developmental and social intervention projects in the country.

He called for a peaceful co-existence among Christians and Moslems to ensure the continuous peace and development of the nation.
