The Akim Oda Area of The Church of Pentecost has successfully organised the 2018 All Officers Retreat (Apostolisation) which took place in two zonal centres (Akim Oda and New Abirem), under the chairmanship of the Area Head, Apostle Peter Kofi Dzemekey.

At the New Abirem Zone, the event took place at Mount Sinai Church Auditorium from Wednesday 14, to Friday, 16th March, 2018. It preceded the Ministers and Wives’ session.

The programme was attended by pastors and their wives, elders, deacons and deaconesses. Others included all ministry leaders, Bible Studies and Home Cells leaders, among other groups.

Apostle Onyinah Gyamfi (Dansoman Area Head) and Prophet Benjamin Augustus Adobah (Retd), were the guest speakers.

Speaking on the topic, “The One True God” one of the tenets of the Church with references to John 17:13; Genesis 1:1; Exodus 20:1,2; Isaiah 40:18-20, 25 and Revelation 1:8, Prophet Adobah explained the nature and sovereignty of God. He described God as the Alpha and Omega, the One who was, who is and who is to come, the Mighty One without limitation, the greater One, the incomparable God with no co-equal.

Quoting from Psalm 14:1: “Only the empty headed fool says there is no God,” Prophet Adobah bemoaned that some groups such as the atheists, animists and dualists, dispute the existence of The One True God.

The retired minister revealed some of the divine attributes the Scriptures ascribe to The True God as Jehovah Jireh – Genesis 22:8, Jehovah Nissi – Exodus 17:16, Jehovah Shammah – Ezekiel 48:35, and several others.

Prophet Adobah practically demonstrated the nature of The Triune God or the Trinity with Bible support from John 14:20 and 2 Corinthians 13:14.
