The joy that greeted the retirement service of the Asamankese Area Head of The Church of Pentecost, Apostle Moses Ayitey last Sunday, August 19, 2018 at Asamankese, took the former Chairman of the Church, Apostle Dr. Michael Kwabena Ntumy to the dancing floor as he joined the elated members to dance to the renditions of Borborbor traditional songs.

The popular traditional song was performed by a Borborbor gospel cultural troupe from the Volta Region. The performance moved the congregation, including the former Chairman to the dancing floor to the admiration of all.

In a brief address, Apostle Dr. Ntumy described Apostle Ayitey as one of the finest ministers of the Church. He noted that he has known Apostle Ayitey for the past 33 years since they first met in the Volta Region during his youthful days in ministry. According to Apostle Dr Ntumy, because of his youthful age, then Pastor Ayitey took him as a nephew, and they have since related as such.

The former Chairman expressed his delight about how Apostle Ayitey, who also served as District Pastor for the Accra New Town (the seat of the Chairman), excellently discharged his duties at the time he (Apostle Ntumy) was the Chairman of the Church.
