The Women’s Ministry of Fotobi District in Suhum Area of The Church of Pentecost has organized a food fair for the women in the district.

The event which took place at the Central Assembly recently recorded massive attendance of women from the district. It was meant to exhibit the skills of the women in cooking both local and continental dishes.

In attendance were the Area Women’s Leader, Deaconess Constance Kumi-Okyere and Elder Samuel Opare, Presiding Elder of the Central Assembly.

Speaking at the event, Deaconess Constance Kumi-Okyere admonished the women to avoid excessive in-take of salt and starchy foods but rather use enough vegetables in preparing their meals.

The Area Women’s Ministry leader asserted that since God wants to live in healthy bodies, there is the need for Christians to eat balanced diet for proper growth and development.
