The Bible Is Complete And Authentic – Pastor Ahuakese

The Resident Minister of Evangel Worship Centre of The Church of Pentecost, Pastor Ebenezer Amartey Ahuakese, has advised Christians to wholly rely on the contents of the Holy Scripture for it is complete and authentic.

According to him, the word of God is the source of life and that whoever accepts it accepts life, however, anyone who neglects it does so at their own peril.

Pastor Ahuakese said this on Friday, March 2, 2018, when he exhorted members of the Akuapem Zone during the Chairman, Apostle Professor Opoku Onyinah’s 3-day working visit to the Koforidua Area.

Speaking on the topic: “The Basic Message: Our Source Of Life,” the Youth Pastor of Teshie-Nungua Area with John 6:63, 2 Timothy 3:16-17 and 2 Peter 1:21, said that no one should doubt the authenticity of the Bible because everything in it was divinely inspired.

He said that the word of God is eternal and would never pass away, stating that “The scripture cannot be broken. You cannot change it to suit yourself.”

He said that the Bible is the source of life hence one cannot live without abiding by the word of God. He advised Christians to hold fast to the word of God especially in difficult times and not to be led by the love of money.

“Silver and gold are the Lord’s and He gives them to whoever He pleases. This means that not everyone would be rich here on earth. But we can rely on God’s word that no matter the situation, He will never leave nor forsake us,” he explained.
Pastor Ahuakese also noted that there are no errors in the Bible and that everything written in it is profitable to humankind.

“Everything in the Bible was inspired by God. However, not everything in the Bible was said by God. Some of the errors (bad things) that are in the Bible were recorded to teach us, correct us and to serve as lessons for us,” he said.

Pastor Ahuakese also urged Christians not to follow supposed “men of God” for prophecies when they have the Bible in their possession. He said that every promise of God about their lives has been documented in the Bible and they need not go to other people to find that out.

Referring to Deuteronomy 4, the Evangel Worship Centre Resident Minister advised church leaders to always draw inspiration from God when putting together their sermons. This, according to him, would help them to refrain from interpreting the word of God by their own understanding.

“The word of God is complete in its totality and is able to explain itself. Don’t add your interpretation, else you will err. Let the Bible speak for itself,” he advised.

Pastor Ahuakese also noted that the Bible is pure, truthful, flawless without fault, and powerful.
He also described the word of God as a seed, which when sown in the life of a person, is able to transform them to bear the fruit of righteousness as well as the fruit of the Spirit such as love, peace, kindness, patience, gentleness, faithfulness, goodness and self-control.
